Aloha ka kou! Thank you for your thoughts, comments and prayers. I’m feeling A LOT better, in terms of my back. San seems to be doing a little better, too. But we’re both not 100%. I’m thankful to be on the upswing, though. Thank you for praying for us. Please continue to pray that we regain more strength and wellness.
Today we stayed home from church so we could take it easy and recover a little more. I think it did us a lot of good. I finally took the plunge and make the huli huli chicken carcasses (not road kill
into chicken soup. However, it turned out to be more like a stew! San laughed at me. it’s pretty thick. But it’s yummy.
In terms of the pregnancy, I’m feeling some stronger more painful and somewhat woozying contractions. I feel a little nausea/lightheadedness sometimes. Not sure what to make of it. I’ve been eating, got good sleep last night and I’ve been drinking plenty of water. Maybe I need to drink more. Not sure, actually, if the contractions are woozying, but I do feel a little weirder today and the contractions have been more painful. Not miserable, though. He’s moving further down and the waddle is getting more waddlier.
Well, not much more to say at this point, other than that San made some corn bread. He loves corn bread. He’s so cute. And he’s decided that we shouldn’t buy All Purpose Flour anymore. We ran out, so he used the Whole Wheat Flour. Anyway, I love it when he cooks. He cooked way more than me before we got married. He’s a great resource for me. I feel so blessed.
Anyway, I’m gonna go for a walk. Malama pono ka kou (Take care everyone)!

I’m actually glad you didn’t go into labor that day, with all the back pain you were having I was worried that you would end up with an unwanted epideral because of the pain. So God knew what you needed, rest! Love you sister, he’s going to be here so soon!

Hiya, I’ve just come from Jenni’s blog, and Eian is adorable! I’m sure it’ll be no time at all before you’re all home together. He looks such a strong little man already!
We had a set back when I had my second baby, as I got chickenpox when he was five days old and wasn’t allowed to hold him or feed him until it was all cleared up, which was about two weeks. I remember feeling so awful and wondering about the bonding time being damaged, especially as he was sick from the formula milk we had to give him to try to avoid him catching my chickenpox. But we came through that, God be thanked, and now he’s the sturdiest, most loving little mamma’s boy at 4 years old that you could ever hope to see! So hang in there. And post lots of pictures! I miss my babies being tiny, and I’m living through other people now to satisfy my desire for a big family!
Congratulations to both of you, and best wishes as you both set out on this exciting journey! xx
