Well, I’m on a roll this evening, so I might as well keep the ball rolling just a little longer! I can hardly believe we have just about 3 weeks left until the baby is due!
Definite changes are taking place. For one our bedrooms has been rearranged . . .
We bought him a little crib with a gift card from his sister, Joyce, who specifically wanted us to buy the crib, stroller and car seat. Then, with some money and gift cards from family and friends we bought him this armoire and put it together a couple weeks ago. This works perfect because we can use the drawer space to store away other things like toys or diapers or whatever, that we don’t really have space for in our closet. So, I washed all his clothes and blankets and burp cloths and socks and bibs . . . and have them all put away. Phew!
The other major changes? Well, I’m getting quite plump feeling. I’m thanking the Lord for the pool down stairs now. Ugh! I get so swollen and hot, it feels so good to soak in that pool. The pool was always a little too chilly for me before, now, though, bring on the cool water!!! I don’t even like to wash my hands in warm water. Also, I’ve been experiencing an increased amount of Brasxton Hicks Contractions. All day today. I felt pretty slow today. I’ve been having those contractions for quite a few months now, but they were stronger today and there was more of them. I’m getting much more uncomfortable, too. Sleeping is starting to become more difficult. I get up a lot and now I’m experiencing some weird burning, stinging, stretching sensation on the right upper belly region. My left hip pain makes it so hard to roll over in bed. My legs feel like the twin towers of Lebanon, but not in a romantic sense, if you know what I mean (See Song of Solomon 7:4, for a little clarification. I changed the body part and descriptors, though), thundering, rather than graceful.
And the list of bodily changes goes on . . . but like my husband says, I am just the way God made me to be. And he loves me just the way I am right now, as always. He loves my belly. He said so yesterday. For those words I am grateful and when I start to feel like a beached whale, I recall those words of encouragement to help me refocus. I am also thankful that my son moves regularly. I welcome all those wiggly little movements; it reassures me that our son is well. He is strong and healthy and getting ready to be born.
Well, Eian has the hiccups and my husband is already in bed, so I think I’d better call it a night. I gotta put this boy to bed. He’s still wiggling and it’s time to sleep.
Aloha no . . .

Tamara! I so love your description! LOL! I bet you feel hot! And with the heat, you’ll also have the “added bennie” of even more water retention!!! David was born in July and I’ll never forget thinking I had elephant ankles! UGH! Oh, you are so beautiful and enjoy these last wonderful moments of your son doing his exercising in you….you will miss that after the birth! Trust me ;o! Love, Shelley

Sis, your little tummy is getting so big! Thanks for posting the pictures, I was anxious to see pictures of your armoire, how fun and practical! It’s amazing to see how you can fit more stuff in that little condo
And how exciting about your sewing machine, it makes me want to sew but I don’t think right now is the season for that for me
Cant wait to see what you are making!
Love you sis, thanks for all the posts, I miss you!
